First time after reopening, at 4:30 pm. Only a few people here. A little packaged food. No bar. TK looked better. UC in C looked better.

Fantastic staff! They had duck on Christmas day so I felt like at home in Germany. Not crowded at all in the afternoon. If you have Star Gold, that’s the right lounge for you.

Better than nothing. Went at 11am on a Saturday and there wasn’t much food to chose from. Plenty of open seats.

Very crowded in the early evening but best food. Really cooked pieces of meat/fish, vegetables and little sandwiches etc.

Fantastic. Had Indian food for the month of January. Food choices outstanding as always at Senator Lounge.

Love this lounge. Great food, drinks and view. What more could you ask for?

This lounge, without a doubt, exceeds the quality of any United lounge at IAD currently. If you can take the detour you'll be much happier. It won't knock your socks off though.

Best Star Alliance Lounge in IAD, better than Priority Pass options. Trouble is it's crowded/small. If you get a seat, it's comfortable. Service sometimes lags in cleaning, but is pleasant. Lousy wifi.

Totally crowded at 4,30pm. I assume this is the rush hour. Most critically, it was almost a sauna with minimal aircon working. It was so hot we left after 10 mins. A wide range of snacks and drinks.

This is in my experience the best lounge in the U.S., if rated for food and beverage. Minimalist interior, quite German, but great service and board.

Really agree with the reviews on this lounge! The Senator lounge is an isle of real quality in a sea of mediocrity at IAD. Staff is great, some good tasty food, great wifi and nice view of the planes.

The lounge is small. What was really disappointing was the food selection. Worse than United.

Great alternative to United's lounges for Star Alliance Gold members. Top shelf drinks, great selection of food and airy and clean space. Wasn't at all crowded when I was there.

One of the best lounges in IAD - may be even the best. Food is excellent! A lot of space, not too many people. And - what is most important - the boarding will be thru the gate.

Great lounge compared to the United choices. 3 different cold sandwiches, chicken wings and a pasta when I first stopped in switched out with meatloaf, risotto, and 2 other options. Quality drinks!

This is a nice lounge that can get very busy. Real food and premium booze are offered too. Also, Heidsieck & Co. monopole champagne is available if you ask for it.

Fantastic food offerings. Real food, not just snacks. Beer offerings were somewhat limited on my visit and wifi was not connectable. Would have given a perfect score if not for the wifi issues. 

This is a great lounge with nice seating. The food is decent, and they have dark German beer on tap. I would recommend the little German brotchen (pretzel roll) sandwiches.
